I liked the way this book was written although some scenes were graphic and one very, very sad one that broke my heart. There were some really passionate and beautiful moments too of course.

The book starts out interestingly; four people are in a hospital waiting to hear if this man who has affected each one of their lives immensely, is going to live or die. And my god the journey leading up to this point is certainly an intense and rocky as hell roller coaster.

The individual character development was interesting to see as well. My opinions on them either became more and more positive (the group of four) or negative (Matt!). And it was a real thrill ride this novel!
