Dancing with Devia

A man ends up on death row, awaiting his execution by lethal injection, all because of Devia.

Devia could be called ‘a devil woman.’  She’s looking for a man she can manipulate and control.

What she wants, she gets.

She wants Julian and she’ll not think twice about killing anyone that stands in her way. The fact that he is already married means nothing to her.

You had better hope she doesn’t want your husband. Or you.

A novel filled with twisted lies, deceit, passion, anger and the ultimate betrayal of trust.

IMPORTANT: This novel is for 18+ readers only. Contains graphic sexual scenes.

And Matt does it again. He’s a real lady killer…

Firstly this is a fantastic debut novel by this author.

This dark and graphic story has a unique storyline. Matt is critically ill in hospital. This is the story of the four people waiting outside his room. Each of these people want him dead for their own reasons. The author has done a great job of portraying how bad Matt is.
This book is not for the faint hearted. It’s a really dark and twisted read. Rape, murder and abuse are all parts of the storyline.

I’ve read hundreds of books this year. This is only one of a handful that took me a few days to read. It took me time to absorb.

If you like dark and gritty then I certainly recommend this story.

To Murder Matt by Viveca Benoir
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

To Murder Matt by Viveca Benoir is a dark and twisty novel that focuses on four people whose lives interwine in various ways and the one man that they all agree, they want to murder.

This book, while a little unpolished and rough, was very complex and the more I read the more I had to know what was happening. It was a very original story, very dark, shocking even in parts. I started out thinking that Matt couldn’t possible be that bad (I have a “feel bad for the bad guy” problem) but he is one piece of work and I, too, am glad he’s dead.

Complicated plot twists, dark and disturbing storyline, a little sex, a lot of abuse, some romance. If you’re good with that, then it’s well worth a read.
